Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 30th July 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by DC Creative Works, including but not limited to:
Photography and videography services
Drone aerial imagery and visual capture
Residential property media services
Commercial content creation and marketing media
Property imagery and visual documentation
Construction progress monitoring
Real estate and business marketing content
By booking a service with DC Creative Works, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Services
All services are provided as visual and creative content production.
DC Creative Works does not provide:
structural or engineering assessments
legal surveying or boundary certification
planning consultancy or official compliance reports
professional advice relating to the condition, safety, performance, or suitability of any property, structure, land, equipment, or site
Photography, videography and aerial imagery are intended to provide visual content only.
Any measurements, interpretations, observations, or visual assessments provided are for reference purposes only unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
Clients remain responsible for obtaining any required professional inspections, surveys, assessments, or technical advice from appropriately qualified professionals.
3. Aerial Imagery Services
Aerial imagery services provide high-quality photography and video content only.
Drone imagery is not a professional inspection, survey, structural assessment, safety assessment, compliance check, or technical evaluation of any property, structure, land, equipment, or site.
While aerial imagery may assist clients in viewing areas that are difficult to access or observe from ground level, imagery cannot guarantee that all defects, issues, damage, or areas of concern will be visible or identifiable.
Any concerns identified through imagery should be reviewed by an appropriately qualified professional.
4. Bookings
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once agreed in writing or through our booking system.
DC Creative Works reserves the right to:
reschedule bookings due to weather, safety, or operational limitations (particularly for drone work)
refuse bookings where necessary for operational, legal, or safety reasons
5. Deposits
A 25% non-refundable deposit may be required to secure a booking.
This deposit confirms the reservation of time, scheduling, and preparation required for the service.
Deposits are non-refundable except where DC Creative Works is unable to deliver the agreed service.
The remaining balance is payable in line with the agreed payment terms.
Deposits may be waived at the discretion of DC Creative Works for repeat clients, ongoing projects, or commercial arrangements.
Priority Turnaround bookings may require full payment at the time of booking for residential services.
6. Payments
Payment terms vary depending on the type of service provided.
For residential and on-demand services, payment is typically required through a deposit-based booking, prepaid service, or full payment prior to delivery of final deliverables unless otherwise agreed.
For commercial, real estate, and business clients, services may be provided under invoice terms, with payment due within agreed timeframes (typically NET 7–14 days unless otherwise stated).
Prepaid credit may also be used where applicable and is governed separately under the Prepaid Credit Policy.
DC Creative Works reserves the right to adjust payment terms based on project scope, client history, or service requirements.
7. Hourly, Half-Day & Full-Day Rates
Hourly, half-day, and full-day rates are available for projects requiring dedicated on-site availability, including but not limited to:
construction and development projects
events or significant site activity
demolition, installation, or milestone capture
timelapse capture
general photography and videography requirements
Rates are based on the amount of time reserved on-site rather than only active capture time.
Half-day and full-day bookings reserve dedicated availability, meaning the agreed rate applies even if the project is completed earlier than expected.
Half-day and full-day rates are only available when booked in advance.
Hourly and day rate bookings include photography, video, or drone capture during the agreed booking period, with basic processing such as colour correction and standard file preparation included where applicable.
Additional charges may apply for extensive post-production requirements, including:
advanced video editing
bespoke edits
animations
extensive retouching
other creative work beyond basic processing
The quantity of final files provided will reflect the agreed requirements of the project and intended use of the content.
Hourly and day rate bookings do not include unlimited images, footage, or editing time.
Additional hours may be requested on the day, subject to availability and scheduling requirements.
Any additional time will be charged at the applicable hourly rate.
Half-day and full-day rates are based on the time reserved and cannot be applied retrospectively to hourly bookings.
Where total on-site time exceeds 8 hours, additional hours will be charged at 1.5× the standard hourly rate.
8. Priority Turnaround
Priority Turnaround is an optional expedited service intended for clients requiring a faster booking-to-delivery timeline.
Advance booking is recommended wherever possible. Where urgent requirements arise, Priority Turnaround may be available, subject to scheduling availability.
Where available, the following Priority Turnaround options apply:
24-hour Priority Turnaround: 75% surcharge on the service price
48-hour Priority Turnaround: 35% surcharge on the service price
Turnaround periods are calculated from booking confirmation through to delivery of the final agreed deliverables, not from the date of the site visit or filming.
Priority Turnaround availability cannot be guaranteed and depends upon diary availability, operational commitments, weather conditions, legal restrictions and any other factors affecting delivery.
Group Booking Discounts and Multi-Service Savings do not apply to Priority Turnaround bookings.
Residential Priority Turnaround bookings require full payment at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
9. Travel & Expenses
A reasonable travel allowance is included for bookings within a 15-mile radius of Broughton Astley, Leicestershire.
For locations outside this area, an additional travel charge may apply to cover increased mileage, travel time and associated operational costs.
Typical travel supplements are:
15–40 miles: £15–£40 depending on distance, journey time and location
40+ miles: Bespoke travel charges will be confirmed prior to booking
For larger projects, extended travel requirements or locations requiring significant additional time away from the local area, further charges may apply. These may include:
additional mileage and fuel costs
travel time where significant additional availability is required
accommodation where overnight stays are necessary
alternative transport arrangements where required, including trains, flights, ferries or hire vehicles
Travel charges are calculated based on the requirements of the individual booking, including location, access requirements, scheduling impact and the time required to complete the service.
Where travel commitments significantly affect availability for other bookings, an additional service fee may apply to reflect the reserved working time.
Any applicable travel or expense charges will be confirmed before a booking is accepted.
10. Group Bookings, Discounts & Service Scope
Multi-Service Savings and Collection pricing are designed to provide added value where multiple services can be completed efficiently as part of the same property visit or operational schedule.
Reduced rates may be available where combining services, locations or appointments creates efficiencies in travel, attendance time or production requirements.
Eligible discounts may include:
Combined Service Discount – where multiple eligible services are booked for the same property
Neighbour Discount – where nearby properties can be completed efficiently within the same visit
Group or Location-Based Discounts – where multiple bookings can be completed within a suitable schedule
Discount eligibility depends on the services involved, location, scheduling requirements, production time and overall project scope.
Only applicable discounts may be applied, and DC Creative Works reserves the right to determine whether a booking qualifies.
Multi-Service Savings generally apply where operational efficiencies are created, such as reduced travel or shared attendance time. They do not automatically apply to all combinations of services.
Commercial projects and creative production services are quoted separately due to variation in requirements, production workload, editing requirements and intended usage.
Discounts generally do not apply to services where pricing is primarily determined by creative production time, editing or post-production requirements, including:
real estate photography and videography
business marketing content
commercial media production projects
services requiring significant editing or creative post-production
These services will be priced based on the individual requirements of each project.
11. Construction Progress Services
Construction Progress and Extension Monitoring services are designed for ongoing visual documentation over time.
Each visit is treated as a separate appointment due to repeated travel and site attendance requirements.
Return visits are not included within group, bundle, or multi-booking discounts when linked to a Construction Progress booking.
This ensures pricing reflects repeated operational travel and time commitments.
However, if a Construction Progress visit is combined with other eligible nearby services, standard efficiency discounts may still apply.
12. Deliverables
Deliverables may include:
photographs
video footage
drone imagery
edited content packages
visual documentation
All content is delivered digitally unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery times may vary depending on workload, project complexity, and agreed requirements.
The quantity of final files provided will reflect the agreed requirements of the project and intended use of the content.
Hourly and day rate bookings, unless otherwise agreed, do not include unlimited images, footage, or editing time.
DC Creative Works aims to provide content that fulfils the agreed service requirements. Clients are responsible for reviewing delivered content upon receipt and ensuring it meets their intended requirements.
Any concerns relating to missing agreed deliverables, reasonable omissions, or issues with delivered content should be raised within 10 days of delivery to allow the opportunity for review and, where possible, rectification.
Requests relating to additional requirements, changes of preference, or content outside the agreed brief may be treated as additional services and may incur additional charges.
13. Creative Requirements & Marketing Outcomes
Photography and videography services are designed to create professional visual content and marketing assets.
Clients are encouraged to communicate any specific requirements, preferred viewpoints, key features, or creative preferences before the shoot.
Where specific requirements have not been communicated, content will be created using professional judgement based on the agreed service.
DC Creative Works will make reasonable efforts to capture imagery that effectively represents the subject; however, it is not responsible for capturing unstated preferences, requirements, or viewpoints that were not communicated prior to the service.
While imagery and content are designed to support marketing efforts, DC Creative Works does not guarantee specific outcomes including:
property sales
property lettings
increased enquiries
increased engagement
customer conversions
other commercial results
Marketing outcomes may be influenced by factors outside the control of DC Creative Works, including:
market conditions
pricing
competition
location
presentation
buyer demand
third-party actions
14. Client Review & Reliance on Imagery
Clients are responsible for reviewing delivered imagery and ensuring that it meets their intended requirements before relying on it for decision-making.
Where specific areas, features, viewpoints, or details are important to the intended use of the imagery, these should be communicated before the service is carried out wherever possible.
If delivered imagery does not clearly capture an agreed requirement or a reasonable omission is identified, clients must notify DC Creative Works within 10 days of delivery to allow the opportunity for review and, where possible, rectification.
DC Creative Works is not responsible for losses, costs, delays, or decisions made where imagery has been relied upon without appropriate review, verification, or further professional assessment where required.
Imagery should not be relied upon as a replacement for specialist advice, inspections, surveys, assessments, or technical evaluations.
15. Usage Rights
Unless otherwise agreed:
clients receive usage rights for their own personal or business use
DC Creative Works retains the right to use content for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes
raw files remain the property of DC Creative Works unless purchased or agreed otherwise
Clients may not resell, redistribute, or substantially alter content beyond the agreed usage without permission.
16. Privacy & Drone Operations
Drone operations are conducted with consideration for privacy, surrounding properties, and members of the public.
Reasonable steps may be taken to avoid unnecessary capture of neighbouring properties, private areas, or identifiable individuals.
Where individuals or unrelated private details are unintentionally captured, reasonable steps may be taken during editing, including cropping or blurring where appropriate.
Clients are encouraged to inform neighbours or relevant parties in advance where appropriate, including when and why drone activity will take place, to help ensure a smooth and respectful process.
Clients are responsible for communicating any relevant privacy concerns, restrictions, or requirements before the shoot where applicable.
17. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations and rescheduling requests should be made as early as possible to allow the reserved time to be reallocated.
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in charges to cover reserved availability, preparation work, travel commitments and any costs already incurred.
Where a cancellation occurs with less than 24 hours’ notice, DC Creative Works reserves the right to retain any deposit paid or apply a rescheduling fee where appropriate.
Weather-related cancellations, particularly those affecting drone operations, will be handled separately due to the safety and operational requirements of aerial work.
Where weather conditions prevent safe drone operations:
drone-only bookings will normally be rescheduled at no additional cost;
where drone services form part of a larger booking, other services may proceed where practical, with affected drone elements rearranged separately;
where a Priority Turnaround booking cannot be completed within the agreed timeframe due to weather or operational restrictions outside the control of DC Creative Works, the Priority Turnaround surcharge will be refunded or credited where applicable.
DC Creative Works will make reasonable efforts to complete services as agreed; however, weather, safety considerations, airspace restrictions and other operational factors may require changes to scheduled appointments.
Any revised appointment date will be arranged at the earliest practical opportunity.
18. Liability
DC Creative Works takes reasonable care in all services provided.
However:
photography, videography, and aerial imagery are provided as visual content only and are not a substitute for professional advice, inspections, surveys, assessments, or technical evaluations
clients remain responsible for decisions made using visual content provided
DC Creative Works is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses
DC Creative Works is not responsible for financial losses, delays, additional costs, or outcomes resulting from decisions made solely based on imagery provided
drone operations are subject to weather, legal restrictions, airspace limitations, and safety requirements
Where an omission or concern relating to the agreed service is identified, clients must provide reasonable opportunity for review and rectification before seeking alternative remedies where possible.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.
19. Prepaid Credit
Use of prepaid credit is governed separately under the Prepaid Credit Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
20. Changes to Terms
DC Creative Works may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The latest version will always be available on the website.
